The Teen Job Readiness Workshop and Job Fair will bring together youth, parents, employers, and community organizations committed to supporting Delaware’s next generation of workers. The event kicks off with a 45-minute presentation from the Division of Industrial Affairs’ Wage & Hour Department, focusing on Delaware’s Child Labor Laws. This session will equip both teens and parents with essential knowledge about workplace rights, responsibilities, and the legal requirements for youth employment. Following the workshop, attendees will have the opportunity to meet with a diverse range of local employers, community-based organizations, and city and state agencies actively hiring for summer youth positions.
