Join the Delaware Department of Correction for their next Correctional Officer Hiring Event on Saturday, June 1 from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm! Stop in for an opportunity to speak one-on-one with DOC Recruiters and Human Resource professionals about the Correctional Officer hiring process, Academy training, and more.

• Learn more about how new Correctional Officer applicants can select their Level V prison facility assignment and start the process of becoming a Correctional Officer.
• Learn how a career with Delaware’s largest law enforcement agency can provide you with job security, a $5,000 hiring bonus, a competitive starting salary of $52,000, benefits, paid time off, pension plan, advancement opportunities, and education reimbursement.
• Participate in the short required in-person interview
• Complete the required physical fitness test
• Minimum age to apply is 19 ½ years old. There is no maximum age limit.
• You must possess a driver’s license and a high school diploma or GED before applying.
• The State of Delaware does not require a Civil Service Exam.
