Description
This program is a truly unique, comprehensive hands-on program designed to fill the current needs of local employers. Students will learn how to perform the duties of a skilled craftsman on a construction site as well as how to operate heavy equipment through classroom instruction, simulator training, and “in-the-seat” equipment operation. Training will include site and land surveying, earth moving and excavation, heavy machinery operation, basic equipment maintenance, blueprint reading, ATSSA national flagger certification, OSHA safety, and forklift operator safety as well as substantial simulator and live seat time operating skid steer equipment, backhoes, excavators, loaders, and dozers. With an aging workforce that is ready to retire, NOW is the time to train for your construction career!

For full refund consideration, your request must be received 72 hours prior to the first course start time. If you withdraw from the course within the first week, you will be eligible to receive a 75% refund. Refunds are not given for courses with 3 or fewer sessions, with the exception of the above 72 hour refund request policy.
