Description
The Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (BSE) program is a combination of in-person and online coursework combined with immersive experiences designed for teacher candidates who have acquired an Associate of Arts in teaching. Candidates will become eligible for dual certification in elementary education and special education in Delaware.
The program provides high-quality instruction and leverages strong partnerships with local school districts and charters to ensure students have robust experiential learning opportunities. The curriculum emphasizes evidence-based practices to produce teaching candidates who nurture all learners. The program culminates in a year-long residency experience to further diversify and strengthen the pipeline to Delaware schools.
