Description
This curriculum provides a comprehensive overview of the knowledge and skills needed to become a proficient Phlebotomist. It covers blood collection techniques, safety protocols, anatomy and physiology, specimen handling, quality assurance, professional development, and practical experience. Adjustments can be made based on specific program requirements, state regulations, and industry standards.
Draw blood for tests, transfusions, donations, or research. May explain the procedure to patients and assist in the recovery of patients with adverse reactions.
