Description
The Heavy Equipment Operator (HEO) program meets the growing demands for equipment operators. Topics include identification of heavy equipment, safe operations, basic operations, earth moving and grading, interpreting civil drawings, excavation math, site work and soils, dozers, skid steers, and excavators. Learn machine operator skills with simulators and equipment onsite utilizing the training track. Upon completion of this program, graduates can be eligible to earn their Journeyperson credential through the Delaware Department of Labor. Participants must be at least 18 years of age, and score 239 on the reading and 236 on the math CASAS test.
