Description
The Winter Apprenticeship covers the foundational knowledge of the skilled trades. You will learn basic work site safety, introduction to construction math, safe and proper operation of hand tools, power tools. You will learn how to use and read construction drawings, basic rigging, identifying and handling different construction materials. This course is a prerequisite to Level 1 Apprenticeship curriculum. Upon completion of this course you will earn 72 credit hours towards the Welding, Plumbing, HVAC or Electrical Apprenticeship programs that Sussex Tech offers.
