Description
This course is for someone who is interested in becoming a busy healthcare professional. This program will provide training to prepare students with skills to handle all aspects of the medical office setting from the front office in patient intake and scheduling to assisting the doctor by taking vitals and drawing blood for prescribed tests. In this course, you will learn how to perform administrative duties, as well as clinical and non-clinical duties. Classes are taught in person and online lecture, student laboratory and through clinical experiences. Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to sit for the Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) and the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant national exam (CMAAC). Tuition includes textbook, exam fee, BLS certification, supplies, and criminal background/drug screening.

For full refund consideration, your request must be received 72 hours to the course start time. If you withdraw from the course within the first week, you will be eligible to receive 75% refund. Refunds are not given for courses with 3 or fewer sessions, with the exception of the above 72 hour refund request policy. Please not that there are some courses with different refund policies. Please not that refunds for payments by check may take a minimum of six weeks to process.
