Description
This program prepares
students for careers as
hemodialysis technicians.
Topics include patient
care, renal anatomy, dialysis
procedures, water treatment, ethics,
and the impact of nutrition and
medication. Students gain hands-on
experience with dialysis equipment
and environments. A high school
diploma or equivalent is required.
The program includes 200 hours of
classroom instruction and may offer
a clinical internship. Graduates are
eligible to take the CCHT exam
through the NNCC.
Minimum 10.0 grade-level equivalent in Reading required.
