Description
Learn how to safely perform basic nursing skills under the supervision of a licensed nurse in a healthcare facility. Communication, observation, and documentation skills are incorporated to aid in meeting the psychological, physical and environmental needs of the patient. Following successful completion of this course, you will be qualified to take the Delaware Nurse Aid Competency Exam for certification. Tuition includes textbook, exam fee, supplies, BLS certification, and criminal background/drug screening. Prerequisites are required. Please contact the campus of your choice for more information. Internship/clinical experience included (hours may vary from course schedule).
Minimum 10.0 grade-level equivalent in Reading required
For a full refund, you must contact the Workforce Development and Community Education office at least 72 hours before the first
session. Withdrawals within the first week receive a 75% refund. Refunds are not given for classes that have three or fewer sessions, with the exception of the above 72-hour refund request. Please note that there are some courses with different refund policies.
