Description
This course will teach students how to perform 3,5, and 12 leads EKGs. Students will learn rhythm interpretation and to recognize and trouble shoot artifact. Upon completion of the course you will be eligible for national certification as an EKG technician. Tuition includes textbook, exam fees, materials, BLS certification, and background check/drug screening. Prerequisites are required. Please contact the campus of your choice for more information. Minimum 10.0 grade-level equivalent in Reading required. GED or high school diploma highly recommended. 18 years of age
For a full refund, you must contact the Workforce Development and Community Education office at least 72 hours before the first
session. Withdrawals within the first week receive a 75% refund. Refunds are not given for classes that have three or fewer sessions, with the exception of the above 72-hour refund request. Please note that there are some courses with different refund policies.
