Description

Dental assistants increase the efficiency of the dentist in the delivery of quality oral healthcare and are valuable members of the
dental care team. Students who have effective communication skills, enjoy working with their hands as well as their minds, and want a career with responsibility, should consider becoming a dental assistant. Classes are taught in person and through online lectures, student laboratory, and clinical experiences. Upon successful completion of the DANB Radiation Health and Safety (RHS) exam, students will achieve the Delaware State Radiology Certification. All textbooks, certification exam, uniforms, and BLS certification included.


Minimum 10.0 grade-level equivalent in Reading and Math required.

Refund Policy

For a full refund you must contact the Workforce Development and Community Education office at least 72 hours before the first session. Withdrawals within the first week receive a 75% refund. Refunds are not given for classes that have three or fewer sessions, with the exception of the above 72-hour refund request.
