Description
Delaware Tech’s highly regarded HVAC Technician Certificate program will prepare you to enter the high demand HVAC industry! Students will receive extensive hands-on training in heating systems (gas, electric, oil, heat pumps, hydronic), air conditioning systems,
HVAC system components, schematic diagrams, electrical controls, blueprint reading, refrigeration theory, commercial refrigeration units, OSHA safety, and EPA 608 certification exam preparation and certification.
Mechanical aptitude is highly recommended. Minimum 9th grade-level math skills recommended.

Refund Policy
For a full refund, you must contact the Workforce Development and Community Education office at least 72 hours before the first session. Withdrawals within the first week receive a 75% refund. Refunds are not given for classes that have three or fewer sessions, with the exception of the above 72-hour refund request. Please note that there are some courses with different refund policies.
