Description
Delaware Tech’s highly regarded HVAC Technician Certificate program will prepare you to enter the high demand HVAC industry! Students completing the 300-hour program will be highly skilled in all aspects of heating, refrigeration and air conditioning. Delaware Tech’s state of-the-art heating and air conditioning labs at our New Castle and Bridgeville locations allow us to provide exceptional hands-on training and industry preparation. Participants can complete the entire HVAC Certificate Program and be job-ready in four months!
The program includes the following.
OSHA Safety Training, HVAC Components, Schematic Diagrams, Electrical Controls, Scale & Blueprint Reading, Estimates &
Calculations, Heating Systems (Gas, Electric, Oil, Heat Pumps, Hydronic), Refrigeration Theory, Air Conditioning Systems,
Refrigerants, Commercial Rooftop AC Units, Walk-In Refrigerators, Commercial Freezers and Ice Makers, Building Automation
Systems (BAS), Ductwork & Plenum Fabrication, EPA 608 Certification Exam Prep, and the EPA 608 Certification Exam

Refund Policy
For a full refund, you must contact the Workforce Development and Community Education office at least 72 hours before the first session. Withdrawals within the first week receive a 75% refund. Refunds are not given for classes that have three or fewer sessions, with the exception of the above 72-hour refund request. Please note that there are some courses with different refund policies.
