Description
This course will teach students how to perform 3, 5, and 12 lead EKGs. Students will learn rhythm interpretation and to recognize and troubleshoot artifacts. Upon completion of the course, you will be eligible for national certification as an EKG technician. Tuition includes textbook, exam fees, materials, BLS certification, and background check/drug screening. Prerequisite: Attendance at an information session. Internship/clinical experience included (hours may vary from course schedule).
Minimum 10.0 grade-level equivalent in Reading required.
