Description

Learn how to safely perform basic nursing skills under the supervision of a licensed nurse in a healthcare facility. Communication, observation, and documentation skills are incorporated to aid in meeting the psychological, physical, and environmental needs
of the patient. Following successful completion of this course, students will be qualified to take the Delaware Nurse Aid Competency Exam for certification.


Minimum 10.0 grade-level equivalent in Reading required.

Refund Policy

For a full refund you must contact the Workforce Development and Community Education office at least 72 hours before the first session. Withdrawals within the first week receive a 75% refund. Refunds are not given for classes that have three or fewer sessions, with the exception of the above 72-hour refund request.
