Description

Classes are held: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 3:00 pm


This Course will provide students with:



  • 18 Weeks (630 Hours) Hands-on computer repair, network configuration & architecture as well as configuration and deployment of mobile devices in an enterprise. This training is designed to give the student the ability to build, upgrade, troubleshoot and maintain computer systems. 

  • Operation and maintenance of operating systems 

  • Introduction to Linux

  • Preventative maintenance techniques 

  • Computer networking for enterprise, small business, and home 

  • Introduction to network applications and administration 

  • Troubleshooting and correcting software & hardware issues 

  • Preparation for the A+ & Network+ Certification 

  • Job shadowing & Placement Assistance

  • Network Technician • IT Cable Installer, Desktop Engineer, Desktop Support Tech


Requirements:



  • Delaware Resident at least 18 years of age

  • Valid State ID & Social Security Card Required

  • Valid Delaware’s Driver’s License Preferred

  • Proof of Selective Service (males only)

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • 10th grade reading and math aptitude

  • Pass Drug Screen and Criminal Background Check

  • Basic computer operation knowledge and technology competency test(s)

  • Keyboarding skills

  • Transportation Preferred
