Job Description
The RN III at Silver Lake Treatment Consortium provides comprehensive nursing care to youth ages 12–17 in a 24/7 residential behavioral health setting as part of a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include coordinating care with staff and providers, managing illnesses and minor injuries, determining need for high level medical care, conducting monthly health assessments, overseeing medication ordering and reconciliation, and training staff in medication administration. Participation in an on-call rotation may be required. CPR, First Aid, and Narcan certification or experience is preferred. JOB REQUIREMENTS for Registered Nurse III
Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:
Registered Nurse III - Psychiatric Nursing
- At least two years experience as a Registered Nurse in Psychiatric Nursing OR a Bachelors degree or higher in Nursing and at least one year experience as a Registered Nurse in Psychiatric Nursing OR a Masters degree or higher in Nursing.
- Possession of a Delaware Registered Nurse license OR multi-state compact license.
