ChristianaCare HomeHealth is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing team. This position provides in-home occupational therapy services to patients throughout Townsend, Dover, and Frederica, Delaware, helping individuals maximize their independence, safety, and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.
As a valued member of our interdisciplinary HomeHealth team, you will work closely with Occupational Therapists, nurses, physical therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient-centered care.

Provide occupational therapy treatments and interventions under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
Assist patients in improving functional abilities, self-care skills, mobility, and home safety.
Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment.
Accurately document patient progress and treatment outcomes.
Communicate effectively with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members.
Travel throughout the Townsend, Dover, and Frederica service areas to provide patient care in the home setting.Required Education and Experience:
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification
Licensed or eligible for licensure as a COTA in the State of Delaware
Current BLS certification or ability to obtain upon hire
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to meet HomeHealth travel requirement
Previous HomeHealth experience preferred, at least one year of work experience as a COTA requiredJoin a Team That's Caring for Our Communities

Hourly Pay Range: $24.33 - $36.50

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
