Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate School Psychologists to support students’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success within a secondary school setting. The School Psychologist works with students experiencing a variety of mental health, developmental, and educational challenges while assisting in the evaluation and qualification process for special education and related support services.

This role is responsible for providing psychological services, conducting assessments, collaborating with educators and families, and supporting student achievement in accordance with state and district guidelines.

Position Details

+ Position Title: School Psychologist

+ Schedule: Full-Time

+ Hours: 37.5 hours per week

+ Contract Length: 36 Weeks

+ Start Date: August 24, 2026

+ Setting: Secondary School

+ Work Arrangement: Preference for on-site services; hybrid schedule options may be available, consisting of three in-person days and two virtual days per week.

Key Responsibilities

+ Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments.

+ Interpret test results and prepare comprehensive reports.

+ Participate in eligibility and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.

+ Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and support staff to develop effective interventions.

+ Provide consultation regarding behavioral, social, emotional, and academic concerns.

+ Support students with mental health and developmental needs.

+ Assist in crisis intervention and prevention efforts as needed.

+ Maintain documentation and services in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.

Minimum Requirements

+ Must maintain current state licensure and/or certification required for the assignment.

+ Minimum of one year of relevant School Psychology experience.

+ Experience working with pediatric and adolescent populations preferred.

+ Master’s degree in Psychology or related field preferred.

+ Ability to comply with all relevant professional standards of practice.

+ Current CPR certification, if required.

+ TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray, if required.

+ Current health certificate, if required by contract or state regulations.

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements.

+ Must be at least 18 years of age.

Qualifications

+ Strong assessment, evaluation, and report-writing skills.

+ Knowledge of special education processes and multidisciplinary team collaboration.

+ Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and school personnel.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

+ Strong organizational and time management abilities.
