The incumbent provides advisory human resource and payroll system functional development services to ensure efficient and effective system controls. Functional expert in planning, analysis, requirements gathering, requirements documentation, design, testing, implementation and maintenance of an integrated human resource and payroll information management system.

JOB REQUIREMENTS for HRIS Lead
Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:
- Three years' experience in researching, analyzing and interpreting data to resolve automated information system inquiries, requests, or problems, or to meet automated information system training needs.
- One year of experience analyzing and evaluating HRIS applications to ensure compliance with state and federal laws, rules regulations, policies and procedures.
- Six months' experience in information systems project management such as planning, scheduling, staffing, coordinating, controlling, monitoring, evaluating and reporting on status of information systems projects.
- Coursework, training and/or work experience in staff supervision which may include performing as a lead worker overseeing the work of others.
