Job Description
The Day-to-Day:
•
Product Handling: Place materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to organizational standards.
•
Housekeeping: Keep work areas clean and organized, maintaining a safe and efficient environment
•
Order Picking: Locate, pick, and prepare products for shipment.
•
Loading and Unloading: Assist in loading/unloading trucks using the reach truck.
•
Safety Compliance: Adhere to warehouse safety policies, PPE requirements, and equipment inspection protocols.
Qualifications:
•
High School Diploma
•
Experience: Prior experience operating a reach truck or similar equipment in a warehouse environment.
•
The ability to operate a Sit-down forklift in a safe manner.
•
Certification: Reach truck operator certification or willingness to obtain it is a MUST
•
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks, such as standing, bending, and moving for extended periods.
•
Skills: Strong hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and basic math skills for inventory tracking.
•
Knowledge: Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and inventory management procedures.
