Join a dynamic warehouse team as an associate, where you will safely operate stand-up forklifts and pallet jacks, accurately process orders, and support shipping activities in a fast-paced distribution environment. You will play a key role in ensuring products are moved, labeled, and loaded efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety, organization, and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Operate stand-up forklifts and pallet jacks to move, locate, relocate, and stack products throughout the warehouse.
- Use RF scanners to track, manage, and verify inventory movements and order details.
- Assign orders and coordinate workflow to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
- Label packages accurately and efficiently in line with company standards and shipping requirements.
- Assist in loading and unloading trailers to meet strict shipping and receiving deadlines.
- Support shipping and receiving activities, including order picking, packing, and staging materials for outbound shipments.
- Perform order picking using stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Operate additional material handling equipment such as sit-down forklifts and reach trucks when required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by following housekeeping standards and best practices.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to promote a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and other equipment, and promptly report any issues or malfunctions.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow, productivity, and accuracy across the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory activities, including counting, replenishment, and verification of stock levels.
- Handle physically demanding tasks such as lifting, moving, and unloading products as part of daily operations.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience operating stand-up forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Proven experience operating pallet jacks for material handling tasks.
- Experience using RF scanners to track inventory and process orders.
- Demonstrated ability to perform order picking, packing, and shipping and receiving tasks.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when labeling, scanning, and processing orders.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding work throughout the shift.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors.
- Positive attitude and willingness to support various warehouse and production activities.
