The City of Dover is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Police Cadet. The Police Cadet
position is to provide assistance to the Police Department. This position is responsible for performing administrative and operational goals of the department. Cadets will be responsible for assistance to the Community Policing Unit by assisting in events, foot patrols, bike patrols, and enforcement of City of Dover Ordnances. This position will also work under direct supervision of the Community Policing Unit.
Job Responsibilities
- Foot patrol and bicycle patrol in the downtown area.
- Enforce City of Dover ordinances.
- Assist with administrative goals of the Police Department.
- Attend outreach events with the Community Policing unit.
