Job Description
The incumbent provides clinical services within the Delaware Psychiatric Center’s Jane E. Mitchell Forensic Building, serving 42 clients under Level 5 supervision. Duties include assessments, daily therapeutic groups, progress documentation, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. JOB REQUIREMENTS for Activity Therapist I
Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:
- Six months experience in planning, organizing and leading group activities.
- Six months experience in working with persons with disabilities.
- Six months experience in applying laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies and procedures.
- Six months experience in narrative report writing.
