Job Description
The Production Worker handles finished goods and supports production operations by palletizing, wrapping, and staging products to ensure stability, organization, and quality. This role loads and unloads materials, performs basic equipment setup and adjustments, and monitors machinery to maintain safe, efficient, and consistent output. The Production Worker follows established guidelines, quality standards, and safety procedures to help meet production targets and maintain a clean, well-organized work area.
Responsibilities
+ Prepare and organize finished products in accordance with established guidelines and shipping standards.
+ Identify and verify product labeling to ensure accuracy and proper routing of materials.
+ Palletize finished goods securely and coordinate the movement of materials to designated finish areas.
+ Verify that correct materials are available for production runs and load or unload materials to and from assigned equipment.
+ Perform basic equipment setup and adjustments, including monitoring machine interfaces and controls.
+ Troubleshoot routine operational issues, respond to alarms or indicator lights, and clear material jams as needed.
+ Monitor quality, productivity, and output to support production targets and efficiency goals.
+ Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner.
+ Follow safety, security, and housekeeping standards to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment.
+ Support internal and external audit activities by completing assigned tasks, providing information, and maintaining required documentation.
+ Collaborate with team members and perform other related duties as assigned to support overall production operations.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in production, general labor, or general production environments.
+ Ability to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
+ Basic machine operation skills, including monitoring interfaces and controls.
+ Ability to recognize obstacles in the production process and make minor operational adjustments while following safety and maintenance procedures.
+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
+ Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a production-line setting.
+ Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
+ Ability to communicate effectively in English (preferred).
+ Physical ability to stand, walk, twist, reach, grip, and grasp regularly throughout the shift.
+ Ability to lift and carry moderate weight and to push and pull materials as required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Previous experience with palletizing and handling finished goods.
+ Experience using forklifts or other material handling equipment in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
+ Familiarity with automated production equipment and production-line processes.
+ Experience working within quality, safety, and production standards in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.

Work Environment
The role is based in a very clean warehouse and manufacturing environment with a temperature-controlled facility. Most of the equipment is automated, which reduces many of the physical demands typically associated with production roles. Work is production-line based, involving regular standing, walking, twisting, reaching, gripping, and grasping throughout the shift, as well as lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling moderate weights as needed. The environment emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and organization, with clear standards for housekeeping and equipment use.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, DE.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 – $16.00/hr.
