Job Description
Penco Corporation is seeking a qualified Warehouse Clerk/Furniture Mover. The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Responsibilities:
- Handle product with care, ensuring no damage to product or customer home/property
- Set up furniture per customer expectations
- Immediately communicate any customer concerns to management
- Adhere to cleanliness and safety standards at warehouse and customer home
- Maintain a clean and clutter-free work environment
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as need
- Keep delivery vehicle clean and well maintained
- Inspect product prior to loading delivery truck, verify all hardware accounted for; notate any defects and inform management.
- Safe loading of product onto delivery truck
- Interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Load/unload product efficiently and accurately
- Pull Customer orders & transfers
- Assemble orders, transfers in identified lag area, ensure they are properly packed and labeled
- Load trucks with orders and transfers to match delivery route
- Verify product and product count is accurate
- Document delivery and receipt according to company policy
- Practice proper PPE (i.e. safety shoes, gloves, safety harness, ladders)
