Job Description
The Medical Assistant will assist physicians during the examination and treatment of patients, whether through virtual or on-site appointments. This role is crucial for delivering quality patient care and encompasses various clinical and clerical duties within the medical practice.
Duties / Responsibilities:

Rooms patients for virtual and on-site within the practice to include taking and recording patient Vitals.

Performs point of care testing, injections, medication administration and EKGs as per practice needs.

Assist clinician with examinations/procedures.

Completes necessary patient-specific paperwork as per practice needs.

Ensures EMR is up to date with all pertinent test results in preparation for next visit.

Handles patient call backs relaying information per the direction of provider.

Performs other related duties as required.
