Job Description

The incumbent in this position will provide nursing services including, but not limited to, direct care, assessments, and facilitating health care services to residents in a long-term care facility. In addition, this CNA will have regular contact with individuals, families, nursing staff, physicians, and other departments as needed. The incumbent will be assigned to a Logistics team where they will be responsible for escorting and assisting with the transport of residents to medical appointments on and off campus, ensuring that seats and wheelchair restraints function properly. The incumbent is expected to lift and assist disabled residents in and out of vehicles and other facilities. The position also involves understanding and dealing with the special needs of residents displaying disruptive behaviors.

JOB REQUIREMENTS for Certified Nursing Assistant
Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:

1. Possession of a Delaware certification as a Nursing Assistant or eligibility for a Delaware certification.
