POSITION: Full-Time Visiting Professors – Academic Year 2026-2027
Wilmington University School of Law invites applications for full-time visiting faculty positions for the 2026-2027 academic year. While all qualified candidates will be considered, the School of Law is particularly seeking candidates interested in teaching: (1) civil procedure; (2) professional responsibility; (3) constitutional law; (4) torts; (5) property, and (6) legal writing.
Applicants should indicate in their cover letter:
their preference for the term of appointment (one semester or full academic year)
whether seeking a visiting (podium) appointment or a visiting appointment with potential tenure-track consideration.

Required Qualifications
Required qualifications include:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school
Teaching experience at a law school or other collegiate level and/or substantial legal practice experience demonstrating strong teaching potential
A demonstrated commitment to student success, exceptional teaching, and collegiality

Salary is commensurate with experience and appointment length.
