Job Description
DVI Teachers of the Visually Impaired (TVI) are responsible for providing itinerant vision related education services to students in a variety of settings such as public, charter, & private schools, medical facilities, homes, & daycare centers. TVI is a critical member of students' Individualized Education Plan teams. Job duties include Braille instruction, functional vision & learning media assessments, adapting core curriculum materials, and consultative services. - Applicant must meet State of Delaware Department of Education licensure and certification requirements as Teacher, Special Education.
