Job Description
DescriptionProvide assessment, planning, counseling/therapy, referrals, advocacy and other services to birth families, resource parents and children/youth that have joined resource families. Work includes both Foster Care and Adoption case work.
- Provide assessment, planning, counseling/therapy, referrals, advocacy, and collateral contacts.
- Prepare and maintain timely documentation and records in accordance with agency, state accreditation, and other requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Testify at court hearings as necessary.
- Complete necessary court reports and court updates.
- Participate in regular peer review, individual supervision, and clinical consultation as appropriate.
- Establish and maintain professional, collaborative relationships with the agency and community.
- Plan, design, and present educational programs as appropriate.
- Participates in training for foster care/adoption parents.
- Maintain agency standards regarding confidentiality, quality, and productivity.
- Position based in Dover, with state-wide travel required.
