Job Description
This position certifies eligible clients for the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program. The responsibilities include but are not limited to planning and developing nutrition education modules to comply with WIC certification rules, training, issuing benefits, answering phones, interpretation, and application of WIC program rules, interviewing clients, nutrition counseling, anthropometrics, hemoglobin checks, scheduling, and data entry into an electronic records system. JOB REQUIREMENTS for Nutritionist II
Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:
- Registered as a Dietitian/Nutritionist from the American Dietetic Association.
