Job Description
Employee is responsible for assisting and/or instructing individuals in performing variety of therapy activities in accordance with well prescribed procedures. Employee works under the close supervision of a technical superior and is responsible for assisting and/or instructing individuals in therapy activities such as performing basic living skills, sensorimotor activities, psychosocial activities or preparing individuals for therapy treatments; observes and records individual's progress; requisitions supplies and materials; maintains work areas and equipment.To view the entire job announcement and apply, Click Here.
JOB REQUIREMENTS for Therapy Assistant
Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:
- Knowledge of therapy practices.
- Knowledge of record keeping.
- Depending on job assignment possession of one of the following certification, license or registration:
- Delaware Occupational Therapy Assistant license
