Job Description
The incumbent will administer medications, perform treatments as ordered, and determine priorities of residents' needs based on nursing diagnoses. They will be solving a majority of clinical problems, using chain of command when assistance is needed in resolving problems. They will be assigning duties to subordinates, monitoring their performance, and correcting as necessary. This position will also work closely with the Medical Director, Nurse Practitioners, wound care team, Gero Psych team, and nursing administration, along with specialists from outside agencies. This RN may also act as the charge nurse in the absence of the unit manager.
