Job Description
Provide critical data and analytics support for business units engaged with population health endeavors across the enterprise. Work with a variety of data sources, including healthcare claims, clinical/EMR/registry data, digital engagement tools, and information from local health information exchanges. Develop reports, undertake ad-hoc time analysis and in-depth analysis to identify opportunities, and analyze outcome measure while conforming to standards and guidelines. Aggregate and develop data analytics reports to support the business. Evaluate large amounts of healthcare data to find meaningful patterns, trends, and relationships. Monitor data quality and analyze data using statistical tools. Present data in charts, graphs, tables, and leverage relational databases for collecting data. Transform the data into business information that helps inform decision making. Interpret and present findings to the organization and key stakeholders under the guidance of senior members of the team. Identify, design, and/or recommend resources and analytical methods to support the population health activities to meet organizational goals/needs. Propose methods to minimize confounding variables and limitations of data. Demonstrate expertise in the use of analytical and statistical tools and techniques (e.g., hypothesis testing, statistical process control, distribution, and control charts) to identify when, where, and how to measure processes and systems and make decisions supported by data.
