Machine Operator

Are you driven to continue to learn and build on your skills?  Do you take pride in producing a quality product?  If so, we want you to join our team as a Machine Operator!  This position produces machined parts by setting up and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine, maintains quality and safety standards, keeps records, and maintains equipment and supplies. Hours are Monday through Friday, 6:30am – 3:15pm with occasional Saturdays.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 ·   Read and understand blueprints.

·   Is able to operate various CNC machines including starting machines, monitoring their operations, and recording operational data.

·   Inspect parts and make adjustments as necessary to meet quality requirements.

·   Measure completed work pieces to verify conformance to specifications, using micrometers, gauges, calipers or rulers.

·   Deburr and wash parts as needed.

·   Maintain, clean, and lubricate machines.

·   Comply with all OSHA and company safety rules.

·   Maintain a safe and clean workspace.

·   Perform other appropriate duties as assigned by management.
