Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong understanding of route driving, as well as experience operating different types of trucks, including roll-off trucks, tractor-trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and forklifts. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Operate and drive various types of commercial vehicles, including roll-off trucks, tractor-trailers, tankers, and dump trucks.
- Safely transport freight to designated locations while following assigned routes.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
- Load and unload cargo as required, utilizing forklifts when necessary.
- Report any vehicle maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly.
