Job Description
Description We are looking for a diligent Call Center Specialist to be a part of our team. As a Call Center Specialist, you will be tasked with handling customer service calls regarding unclaimed property, maintaining detailed records of each interaction, and escalating issues to the management team when necessary. This role is based in Wilmington, Delaware, in the United States. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Handle customer service calls diligently and provide information about the status of their unclaimed property claims
- Provide guidance to claimants on how to file claims online and upload necessary supporting documentation
- Analyze documentation to establish the evidence required to prove ownership
- Identify patterns or trends in customer calls and report such findings to the supervisor
- Exhibit patience and professionalism when assisting callers with their unclaimed property issues
- Escalate complex issues to the management team as needed
- Add detailed notes from each call to the claims database in accordance with procedures
- Carry out other administrative functions and special projects as required. Requirements – The candidate must have at least 1 year of experience in a call center or customer service role.
- Proficiency in handling inbound calls is essential.
- Experience in a customer service role within a call center is required.
- The candidate should have the ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
- A high level of computer literacy is required.
- The ability to multi-task and manage time effectively is crucial.
- The candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience with CRM systems and practices is preferred.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential.
- The candidate should have a customer-oriented approach.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, during weekends, or on holidays, as needed, is necessary.
