Description
Your Role: This position is responsible for controlling, inspecting, and tracking inbound and outbound customer and vendor truck traffic along with coordinating the timely flow of trailers and paperwork needed in the process of receiving, storing and shipping products.
Coordinates dock flow for all outbound loads
Tracks and verifies paperwork and product on trailers
Investigates shortages of product in the picking process
Compares accuracy of supplier bills
Chooses and stages loads to be received
Prints, distributes, and finalizes shipping and receiving paperwork as needed
Inspect and record inbound vehicle data
Verifying correct load and temperature settings
Use of Yard Management
Process Company Driver check-in paperwork
Verifying correct load & temperature settings
Assist with Custom Haul Load and paperwork tracking
Follow prescribed Temp Integrity procedures
Notify Safety Department and Garage for accident damage and equipment failure
Applies lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position
Role Specifics:
Hiring for two Shifts:
1. BOWN - Wed.-Sat. - Night Shift
2. Floating Shift - Mon-Thurs. - 12pm to 10pm. or Mon,Tue., Thurs., Fri. 12pm-10pm
(Also floating hours to cover scheduled time off for other shifts which include day and  night shifts)
We Need You To Have:
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Proficient with VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and sorting data
We would Like You to Have:
College Degree (Bachelors or Associates)
Experience with warehouse computer systems
Ability to accept changing work demands
Some leadership experience
Schedule flexibility
