Job Description
Kelly Services is actively recruiting for a Lab Technician for a Long Term Contract opportunity in Wilmington, DE.
Seeking an energetic, responsible, organized, detail-oriented, attentive and efficient laboratory technician to conduct chromatographic analysis of a variety of samples in support of R&D, customer service and manufacturing. The position will also include assisting in the analysis of samples using standard methods as well as assist senior analysts in development of new methods. Testing involves gas and liquid chromatographic techniques, automated titration, use of OpenLab chromatographic software and handling of chemicals for preservative determinations. The applicant is expected to maintain a safe and clean laboratory, work safely in an R&D environment, and actively participate in company safety programs.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelors or Associate degree in a Chemistry or Chemical Science, with a preference for analytical experience.
Experience with the following are highly preferred:
o High Performance Liquid Chromatography
o Gas Chromatography
o Familiarity with common chromatography data systems
o Accurate sample preparation procedures
o Statistical procedures and data processing
+ Good written and verbal communication skills
+ Great organizational skills
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word
+ A self-starter with ability to balance multiple tasks on different timelines
+ Proven ability and passion for working within a highly collaborative environment.

+ A strong work ethic and a desire to learn new skills
