IFF’s Pharma Solutions division is looking for a team member to help us be the premier partner to our customers, build our future and become one IFF. The Pharma Solutions business will be taking on its next chapter of growth as a trusted partner for the pharmaceutical industry with the announcement to sell Pharma Solutions to Roquette. This move will position Pharma Solutions to expand its industry leadership through continued investment in innovation to meet the evolving needs of pharmaceutical manufacturers and developers worldwide. The sale is presently expected to close in the first half of 2025, pending regulatory approvals and other closing conditions. The Pharma Solutions business unit will remain a part of IFF until close and, at such time, it will transition to Roquette. This is an exciting position for a Global Marketing Manager to join a very dynamic and experienced commercial team. The responsibility is to manage the marketing mix for a global food ingredients business with a stable and expanding customer base, within the Food Ingredients business of the Pharma Solutions Division.

As the Global Marketing Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible to identify new growth opportunities, to expand the customer base as well as develop new applications for our products, working with customers, our sales team and application laboratory. The position is also responsible to provide pricing guidance for the sales team, and coordinate pricing and contract activities between the sales team and product managers. The candidate will have responsibility for commercial marketing globally and manage commercial literature assets, maintain existing documents and enrich with new promotional materials, coordinate positioning activities at trade shows with our Communication team.

The position is based out of our Wilmington, DE, office, but we will consider remote candidates. Travel is expected to be 20% to 25%.

Responsibilities:

+ Work in collaboration with sales team, technical service team, and customers, to position our products, and optimize margin in a competitive environment.

+ Develop marketing plans to increase innovation sales, solve customer problems and differentiate from competition.

+ Manage pricing for new products and existing business, support the sales team for large contract negotiations.

+ Identify new market trends, develop growth opportunities and maintain a growth pipeline for our business globally. This includes developing new products and technologies working with our application laboratory, our commercial team and customers.

+ Manage and enrich our commercial and technical literature, customer presentations and other communication assets.

+ Drive regional and global marketing activities: product launches, campaigns, trade shows, etc.

Job Requirements

+ BS in Chemistry or Food Engineering

+ Min. 3-5 years experience in food ingredients marketing.

+ Strong track record in managing the marketing mix for a food ingredients business.

+ Action Oriented – Taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy and enthusiasm.

+ Drive to results, self-driven and work independently.

+ Excellent communication, both verbal and written, analytical and interpersonal skills. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively work internally with regional teams and the global Food Ingredients team.

+ Strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic global commercial environment.

Preferred Experience:

An MBA will be a plus.
