Job Description

Step into the role of a Principal Architect at JPMorgan Chase and become a driving force behind the development and adoption of cutting-edge, cloud-based technologies for an AI/ML Platform.

As a Principal Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the AI ML Data Platforms organization under the Chief Data Analytics Office, you provide expertise to enhance and develop architecture platforms based on modern cloud-based technologies, as well as support the adoption of strategic global solutions. Leverage your advanced architecture capabilities and collaborate with colleagues across the organization to drive best-in-class outcomes.

Job responsibilities

+ Advises cross-functional teams on technology selection to achieve target state architecture and decisions on improvements to current technologies

+ Develops multi-year roadmaps aligned with business and architecture strategy and priorities

+ Creates complex and scalable coding frameworks using appropriate software design

+ Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others

+ Serves as the function’s go-to subject matter expert

+ Contributes to the development of technical methods in specialized fields in line with the latest product development methodologies

+ Creates durable, reusable software frameworks that improves velocity and quality of output across teams and functions

+ Champions the firm’s culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

+ Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience

+ Hands-on practical experience delivering system and platform design, application development, testing, and operational stability

+ Expertise in one or more programming language(s) like Python / Java

+ Deep knowledge in broader AWS services with specialization in AI/ML and Data Analytics suite of services in AWS and Kubernetes

+ Well established and rounded grounding in Identity and Access management concepts including OIDC & Identity federation and brokering

+ Advanced knowledge of software architecture, application development, and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines inside the domains of cloud native architecture, artificial intelligence, machine learning, MLOps

+ Experience applying expertise and new methods to determine solutions for complex architecture problems in one or more technical disciplines

+ Ability to present and effectively communicate to Senior Leaders and Executives

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

+ Azure and OpenAI knowledge

+ Professional Level certifications in AWS / Azure / Kubernetes

Jersey City,NJ $204,250.00 – $285,000.00 / year
