Primary Function
Our Fortune 100 tech client is seeking a highly motivated, collaborative, resourceful, and experienced marketing leader to lead two of their core businesses. This role requires a deep understanding of B2B Marketing, and previous experience with SAAS products and platforms is a huge plus. Agile, strategic thinking, data driven analytical skills, technical and business acumen, ability to present and communicate concisely and clearly are all critical requirements.
$100,000 – $140,000 annually
Duties & Responsibilities
+ Develop and drive measurable marketing strategies and plans for our vision technology hardware and software products.
+ Develop the narrative for the company’s vision technology portfolio to align with their corporate messaging as well as relevant business unit initiatives and objectives and key results.
+ Support the revenue goals of our base 3D Stereo camera business with demand generation and tradeshow activations.
+ Leverage research and insights to optimize and evolve narrative, as well as measure efficacy of programs.
+ Build relationships with peers at SMG and in relevant BU category teams to drive more integrated strategic thinking across marketing and messaging.
+ Ensure that all marketing content and materials are approved by the BRF
+ Collaborate across spectrum of internal and external subject matter experts to create and curate relevant programs & content to accelerate IPU brand equity.
+ Collaborate with internal cross functional teams and network of agency resources.
+ Play an active role in communication initiatives and special projects, as needed. Assist in the development of an integrated global marketing strategy, campaigns and marketing ROI.
+ Advocate for vision technology brands to be represented as a part of the brand story and narrative.
+ Anticipate trends and proactively refocus business activities and resources accordingly.
Skills & Qualifications
+ Outstanding project management with a focus on deadlines and the ability to course correct as issues arise.
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills and a solid comfort level interacting with executive management.
+ An Audience/Customer-First marketing mentality.
+ The ability to pivot and adapt to fast changing market trends is vital.
+ Ability to communicate complex issues and technologies clearly and concisely, both spoken and written.
+ Comfortable with vision technology and AI concepts and terminology.
+ Strong ability to adapt and embrace change and work independently and under ambiguous and/or changing circumstances.
Education & Experience
+ – Degree in business or marketing is required.
+ 5+ years of experience in any of the following:
+ B2B and/or SAAS marketing experience
+ Product Marketing experience including product positioning, messaging, competitive and market segment analysis,
+ contract negotiations, pricing.
+ Experience working with and managing vendors and consultants; managing budgets.
+ Start-up experience encouraged.
+ Experience supporting value-based sales organizations.
+ Data informed strategic marketer who has experience in large B2B tech organizations.
