Job Description
The primary function of the Learning and Content Development Intern is to support education and learning initiatives delivered through our learning management system. The Intern supports the transformation of learning and educational content in a way that is easy for our caregivers to navigate. By helping with the LearningSpace cleanup projects and web module testing, the Intern contributes to the successful delivery of the system wide training solutions for ChristianaCare.
Duration: Summer 2024, June 10 through August 2 (40 hours/week)
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support multiple LearningSpace cleanup projects, e.g., non-working email update, file title update, Content Library cleanup, etc.
Testing multiple web modules including but not limited to Annual Systemwide Education, New Hire Corporate Compliance course, New Hire Information Security and Privacy course, etc.
Supports both Content Development team and Learning Technologies team in all areas of training development and delivery.
Performs assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices; reports to supervisor, in a timely manner, any unsafe activities, conditions, hazards, or safety violations that may cause injury to oneself, other employees, patients, and visitors.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED
Rising junior, senior or graduate student pursuing a BS/BA in education, graphic design, instructional design, organizational development or communications.
Flexibility to work in a hybrid model (remote and office)
Familiarity with adult learning education, organizational development, instructional design, or learning technologies
