Our Facilities Engineering Department located in Newark, DE is looking for a full time Property Management Coordinator to manage assigned properties such as medical office complexes and physician-based condominiums owned, leased or managed by the ChristianaCare. The Property Management Coordinator is involved in all aspects of day-to-day operations of the property, including, tenant / Condo Owner relations, maintenance and repair, security, janitorial services, etc. The Property Management Coordinator assists in the preparation of the annual budget, reporting and financial performance of the property. Generous PTO, Competitive Pay & Robust Benefits Package. 403B company match and Tuition Reimbursement 12 weeks Paid Parental Leave (after 1 year) Duties and Responsibilities: Provide excellent and strong tenant / Condo Unit Owner relationships Serve as the point of contact for tenants, Condo Unit Owners and Condo Associations. Address housekeeping, maintenance, and parking issues Respond to tenant, Condo Unit Owners and Condo Associations requests/problems in a timely and courteous manner, follow-up with tenants, Condo Unit Owners and Condo Associations to ensure satisfactory resolution of any issues Serves as point of contact for CCHS owned suites in assigned buildings at various locations Conduct periodic janitorial inspections of property and tenant spaces to ensure compliance with contracts and the proper upkeep of the property. Assist in the preparation of the annual operating budgets for designated facilities Negotiates and contract for housekeeping services and supervise work as the need arises Obtain estimates / bids for repairs to designated facilities Investigate cost reduction opportunities Coordinate special tenant requests Coordinates major signage changes within buildings Coordinate the replacement of furniture in public areas Performs assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices; reports to supervisor, in a timely manner, any unsafe activities, conditions, hazards, or safety violations that may cause injury to oneself, other employees, patients and visitors Knowledge, skills and abilities: Knowledge of good housekeeping practices. Knowledge of procurement procedures. Ability to create positive relationships with other caregivers, tenants, landlord, vendors and contractors. Ability to assess spaces for housekeeping and facilities related deficiencies. Ability to provide contract oversight. Hours: Day Shift, may include some weekend hours as needed Education and Experience Qualifications: Associates Degree in Business Administration or related field. 3 years experience in health care, property management, or other related field. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of Associates Degree.
