Description
The goal of the Application Team Manager is to drive new and targeted products into new and existing customers. This person is also a primary filter for new product ideas for development by R&D.
They will be responsible for:
The development of marketing plans (joint with Marketing)
Driving new product launch that includes delivery of training and sales selling aids
Leading a team of 2-5 application engineers that will complete site technical audits across multiple industries, provide troubleshooting of utility related problems, and engages in technical information development and dissemination of information.
Leading multiple projects focused on new technology growth and will support geographic growth initiatives joint with sales.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Biological Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or other technical degree,
New Product Launch and sales focus experience
Expertise in administration of chemical programs for cooling systems, including corrosion and scale
Expertise in Oxidizers and proprietary biocides
Expertise in all types of cooling systems, both open and closed
Expertise in Power, Pulp/Paper Water and Hydrocarbon and Chemical processing industry utilities strongly preferred.
Expertise in reverse osmosis processes is a plus
Experienced in troubleshooting cooling systems in upset situations
Travel is approximately 50% - ideally candidate has easy access to airport
