Job Description
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Maintains seamless flow of supplies to clinical areas through the maintenance of existing clean supply areas, build-out of new supply areas, and analysis and adjustment to supply levels. This role acts as a liaison between clinical supply areas and the Materials leadership and is the resident subject matter expert (SME) on supply utilization at the front-line level.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Acts as primary customer service representative for PAR related issues for the entire Materials department
Processes stock issues and returns; provides QA/QC of returned items from clinical areas.
Processes credits and adjustments by the end of each business day.
Evaluates supply usage and makes recommendations to Supply Chain Analyst regarding usage and carried supplies.
Makes physical adjustments and conducts maintenance on all PAR areas, including replacing broken bins, adding/removing products, and installation of additional storage as needed
Works with clinical caregivers to support requests for PAR additions/removals
Releases orders from Issue Processing que when necessary.
Performs customer service for issues pertaining to on-campus supply needs; runs cross-reference for items located on-campus for immediate fulfillment across all departments.
Coordinating desktop deliveries to ancillary departments by utilizing available staff.
Performs other assignments and clerical support as assigned by management.
Enters data into spreadsheets daily/monthly as assigned. (Alcohol reports, SSI, Stock Outs, Fax Audits, Par Form Log Report, etc.) using Microsoft Office products & PMM; disseminating the information to appropriate departmental support staff/management.
Demonstrates compliance with CCHS and departmental policies and procedures including but not limited to safety, infection control, attendance, and dress code.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management staff
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High School education or equivalent
Two years' experience in Material Management/Inventory control or related field preferred
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
