The Quality Control Specialist will act as the gatekeeper to ensure that the highest quality standards are maintained throughout the Consumer loan processes. The incumbent is responsible for performing pre-closing review of all new loans for accuracy and completeness and identifying any errors and/or missing items before customer closing.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review all assigned workspaces for accuracy to ensure no errors are present. Including Loan Packages, HMDA & CRA.
- Accuracy & Efficiency; Early Disclosure review - HELOC/HEIL; Approval Letter and Coversheet; Closing Disclosure review.
- Communicate extensively with the Consumer Loan Specialist, Consumer Loan Underwriting, WSFS Mortgage and Private Banking teams.
- Tier I review of third party lending documentation.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- Must have 1-2 years of experience in Consumer Loan processing, document preparation or review.
- Must be able to work in a fast pace, high volume loan department.
- Must demonstrate great attention to detail, and the ability to manage all deadlines and priorities effectively.
- Must be proficient in using MS Office products.
- Must have the ability to demonstrate assertiveness and the ability to work with and communicate positively, professionally and as a subject matter expert with Underwriters, Array, and the loan specialist.
- Must have strong oral and written communications skills
