An exciting opportunity has arisen within the US Settlements team in Custody operations that would help you gain background and insight in the JPM’s unexplored physical securities settlement space, hone, enhance and develop a risk mind set aiding and boosting your career growth, building potential and contributing to firm’s success.

Job Summary:

As a Trade Lifecycle Associate I in Vault oversight team, you will be responsible for the oversight of our Physical Vault processes. You will ensure SLAs are being met and the service provider is adhering to procedures and controls as outlined in CORE. You will act as the key interface between our Client Facing teams and the service provider for any issues and escalations.

Job Responsibilities

+ Reviewing and overseeing the daily operation via daily/weekly/monthly MIS analysis

+ Ensuring adherence to procedures and controls and providing necessary data to senior management

+ Producing and publishing governance materials on a weekly/monthly basis

+ Monitoring service requests to ensure correct prioritization of work

+ Build key subject matter expertise in the team which will provide value added services to clients

+ Establish positive working relationships with key stakeholders

+ Identify and address gaps in/non adherence to established processes and controls

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

+ Product knowledge: Excellent prior Physical Securities experience

+ Risk and Control: Strong risk and control mind-set, including the ability to effectively prioritize workloads and work to critical deadlines

+ Critical thinker: has the ability to react with criticality to issues and escalations as they arise

+ Experience: 4+ years in the financial services industry

+ Proactive in identifying and escalating issues a Self-starter and ability to learn quickly
