THE OPPORTUNITY!
***MUST HAVE 5+ YEARS SELLING MATERIAL HANDLING EQUIPMENT***
The Strategic Account Manager will play a critical role in building relationships with significant customers. Our ideal candidate will ensure customer satisfaction and be able to identify new opportunities to increase sales. This individual will represent our company, interact with major customers, and ultimately be responsible for achieving sales quota and strategic account targets.
Additionally, internally this position will provide a territory Account Manager with advancement within our sales structure. An Account Manager that currently manages 1 to 2 accounts in their assigned territory receiving 20 or more trucks per year per customer with a minimum of 3 customers (or 2 accounts with 30 or more trucks per year) in their existing territory with the option to add accounts doing business with ELT outside of current territory. Provide the Account Manager 12-15 additional accounts to prospect into that we are NOT conducting business with currently that we know purchase 20 or more trucks per year.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage our key accounts portfolio (vetting, qualifying, shelving)
Achieve assigned strategic account objectives
Establish strong, long-term customer relationships
Communicate with major clients on a regular basis and respond to specific RFQ's/RFP's
Suggest solutions and innovative ideas to meet company initiatives and consumer demands
Handle challenges unique to large volume customers in a timely and effective manner working through the dealer network
Act as the liaison between Strategic Customers and HYG Dealer Network
Identify and approach new potential Strategic Customers
Monitor sales performance metrics
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports and forecasts
REQUIREMENTS:
*MUST HAVE 5 Years of experience as a Material Handling Equipment Selling professional with demonstrated ability to handle customer profiles with sizeable fleets*.
Solid sales experience in B2B environment
Hands on experience with CRM software and Account Management Systems
Understanding of sales performance metrics
An ability to address customer requests in a timely manner
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong client relationships
Strong negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude
Availability to travel as needed
BS degree in Sales, Business Administration, Business Management, Logistics or relevant field
